24th March: Eight APPG members met with representatives from the UK Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Network, to receive a briefing on key topical issues
20th March: Baroness Jenny Tonge, Mette Kjaerby and Benjamin Hunter met with representatives from the Royal College of Gynaecologists and Royal College of Midwives to discuss the risks and benefits of caesarean sections
18th March: Baroness Jenny Tonge spoke at the General Assembly of the African Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development, in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, on the experiences of European parliamentarians
20th – 21st February: Baroness Jenny Tonge spoke at the German APPG on Population and Development’s 10 year anniversary event in Berlin, Germany.
12th February: Baroness Jenny Tonge, Mette Kjaerby and Benjamin Hunter met with representatives from the Royal College of Midwives and Maternity Action to discuss the Immigration Bill
11th February: Baroness Jenny Tonge spoke at the Plan Norge, Child Marriage event in Oslo, Norway
