Maternal Morbidity Hearing 2008-9

In July 2008 the All Party Parliamentary Group on Population, Development and Reproductive Health announced that it would be holding hearings on maternal morbidity. A call for written evidence was circulated to a large number of groups and individuals and was posted on this website. Over fifty written responses were received and are posted below.

The Group held hearings, for selected organisations to give oral evidence, on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th December 2008 which were open to the public. The Group's report on maternal morbidity was launched in the House of Commons on Wednesday 6th May. Click here to read the press release.
